With the fall of Gannon and his evil army now gone, Hyrule was now at peace. The Tri-Force returned to the Sacred Lands and everyone returned to their own lives. Link returned to Ordon and Zelda ruled over Hyrule with compassion and kindness. Everything was once again at peace, however, seeds of war had been planted once again. The neighboring country of Promethia was a barren wasteland and on the verge of dieing. The land was plagued with no vegetation, lack of water, and its resources were almost depleted. It was, in all meaning of the word, a wasteland.
The Kingdom that ruled over this barren land was in a crisis. Plans of restoring the land to its former glory were out of their reach and soon, they would lose everything. All seemed to be all lost until a mysterious stranger appeared. He told the prince of a way of save his land. Within Hyrule was a power that would revive the land to its former self. With the power of the Sages, Promethia would be flourishing once again. The Prince decided to listen to this man and sent a group of soldiers to find these Sages.
The Promethian Soldiers closed in on the remaining Sages in the Desert Province. The Soldiers were too much for the Sages and were captured. They brought them to castle where they would meet their fate. The Prince was pleased and knew that his land would be revived. However, the Sages wouldn’t let this happen without a fight. The Sages decided that their time was up. In one final move, the Sages released with powers and sent them flying toward Hyrule. This allowed the Sages to pass their powers onto a new generation. The Prince of Promethia allowed the power to save his land sip through his fingers.
Rage filled the man’s head and quickly decided to take matters into his own hands. It was time for war. The Prince gather his people and told them of the power of the Sages. If they were to drain them of their powers, Promethia would be saved. The people agreed to this plan. The thought of living in a land filled with water, forests, and clean air drove the people to go to war.
In Hyrule, the traces of the Tri-force has pulled themselves away from the users. With Ganon dead from the world of light, no one knows where the Tri-force has hidden itself. New sages have been selected and lie in Hyrule unaware of their powers and the looming threat towards their life. Will you choose Hyrule or Promethia? Will you fight for the sages, or condemn them? Better yet, who will is this Oracle that sings of the return of the Tri-force, and the new wielder of Power?
